Nantongo Bashirah
Nantongo Bashira is a young, proactive woman leader passionate about girl child education, youth empowerment, and engagement in global issues. She currently works as a part-time lecturer at the Islamic University in Uganda, Females’ Campus, and holds a Master’s degree in education management and administration from the same institution. She has experience in youth networks, politics, and civic engagement. Bashira served as the Guild President Emeritus at the Islamic University in Uganda, Females’ Campus. She is also the founder of the “TALK TO BASHIRA” initiative, which focuses on motivating, guiding, and building capacity among young people in communities and schools. Additionally, she is known as an advocate for women’s leadership and a politician, having aspired for the Busiro North parliamentary seat. She is recognized as part of a new generation of African women transforming leadership roles through public engagement.
